Pat and the late Frank Haigler acquired their first Irish Setter in 1964 and soon joined the Irish Setter Club of America in 1965. They went on to become very active as well as influential in the dog show world.
Dogs they bred became the foundation for many kennels including Scarlly Setters, Arista Setters and Shawnee Kennels.
The Secords have had two dogs from the Haigler's last two breedings. The second to the last breeding in 1997 produced CH Rendition Irish Cream, "Bailey". The last breeding in 1999 produced BIS BISS CH Rendition Treasured Moment, "Jewel". Dawn showed these dogs exclusively.
In 2007 the Haiglers began to groom and mentor the Secords to take over the Rendition Kennel and the Rendition breeding program.
